The mesh openness factor determines the amount of heat, light, and air that enters a room. A more open fabric allows the breeze and heat to enter the living space, while tighter meshes block more sunlight and keep the space cooler.

Mesh Options

Ideal where insects are a problem, this mesh type reduces up to 55% of UV rays. Insect mesh also features a higher openness factor and is recommended for large openings, ventilation, and visibility to the outside.

This manually operated retractable screen retracts horizontally and completely out of sight when not in use. While in use, the mesh is secured in the track to prevent blow-outs in breezy conditions. It also features customizable stopping points along the track for easy in and out access.

These retractable screens can cover large openings up to 24 feet wide and 10 feet high while using a double unit and 12 feet wide and 10 feet high using a single unit. They are the ideal solution for oversized door systems.
